I looked up some reviews on my publisher, Whiskey Creek Press (I should have done this before I signed the contract) and I found out a few things.
Usually the complaints are that the authors receive poor sales in return and that the publisher tends to have a lack of unresponsiveness and that their editors focus more on the romance/erotic romance stories rather than anything else...
The company still pisses me off though, as that is still no fucking excuse. They should still try to make sure that they did the best that they can since they offered to publish it... with mistakes like these, they will diminish sales...
I can't really do anything, even if I wanted them to change all of the mistakes that they've made to my book, that's going to cost me to fix them. We'll see what happens. Either way, the book will still be available for sale through Amazon and Barnes and Noble for anyone who wants to read it if you don't mind some of the errors, otherwise while I'm at work tonight, I'm going to fix the copy that I have of all the grammatical errors that I've caught so far.

if you can go and get it published by anuther publisher if posable.
I'm really interested to read the book. It's been a long time since a book caught my attention like this. I will wait for you get this straightened out though. I figure you would appreciate as little sales as possible so you can void your contract.
I'm not sure if it will ever get straightened out, as they don't really respond much to the emails that I send them (that's really the only way that I'm allowed to communicate with them is just electronically). Even then, 10 months (since the contract ends February of 2015) isn't too far away before the contract ends. If you still want to, feel free but I just hope that the errors won't bother you >.<' I feel like even if sales were terrible that they will probably still hold onto the rights to publish it until the contract ends... >.>'
Well, I really want to read someday. Your summary really does it's job. I'm sure the errors won't take away from it for me. People make mistakes when they write and it isn't your fault your editor didn't catch them. I wish you the best of luck in all of this. ^^
I appreciate it, thank you It's still a little embarrassing for me as a writer to see my mistakes in clear print but people have told me that they did not catch them, so I don't know. We'll see what happens in the future >.>'
No problem ^^ Sometimes it takes hindsight to see our mistakes. And as one artist to another I can say that you are hardest on yourself. Every now and again you just need to be told you are doing well. If an artist isn't appreciated, then why write or draw? I hope to get to read it soon (Total starving artist here ) I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I love a good fantasy novel.
thats absolutely fine hon. you do your best to fix it. and shit some of the books ive read that have higher-up publishers and editors still have bad spelling and grammar mistakes. you ever read the warriors series? they tend to mix things up ALOT. and i do mean quite a lot.
"and that their editors focus more on the romance/erotic romance stories rather than anything else... "
They should make everything right, free of charge, since they are the ones who screwed up in the first place. They shouldn't charge you to fix their mistakes...
Oh my gosh... I am so sorry for you... I hope that everything works out
Good luck to you and your sales! I personally like the ideas of the book, and plan on purchasing one when I get the funds uvu
That really sucks but I'll totally still purchase it nwn If I see any typos I'll point 'em out for ya
I just hope those guys go banckrupt
